Decorative Journal Cover

I picked up a couple of these writing pads at Fred Meyer the other day and I couldn't wait to decorate the covers.

I glued sheet music onto the cover with a glue stick.

Attached ribbon with a glue stick to the bottom.

Attached rhinestones to the center of the flowers.

Tied pretty, soft fibers to the spiral binding and attached a wire word "imagine" to the end of the fiber strings.

Here's my finished cover! Isn't it sooo cute??

Just think of the creative possibilities these pretty journals can collect.

  1. Fantastic! I love the ribbon and rhinestones you've used. Actually, I always used those two decorative things in making hair accessories. :)

  2. This is really cute! I might have to do this on some journals that I recently acquired. Thanks for posting!
